About
Recently, I taught at the Monroe County Middle College, a public high school in Michigan which is partnered with the Monroe County Community College. At that school, students receive their high school certification, as well as 50+ college credits, upon graduation. I taught English and World History at MCMC for five years, and was the yearbook adviser for four years. In my classroom, I consistently used aspects of art, design, digital media, and film elements to work alongside more commonplace curriculum.
I am a 2010 graduate of Western Michigan University, and served as an English 1000 instructor there while earning my undergraduate degree. I graduated from Michigan State University in 2015 through their Master of Arts in Educational Technology program, which took me to Galway, Ireland the past three summers.
